Namibia Snatches Victory with Last-Ball Six Against Scotland After Munsey's Century

George Munsey struck his third T20 hundred for Scotland

Scotland 186-4 (20 overs): Munsey 108; Smith 2-39

Namibia 187-6 (20 overs): Frylinck 78; J Davidson 3-51

Namibia win by four wickets

Namibia's Dylan Leicher struck a final-ball six as the hosts beat Scotland by four wickets in the final match of their T20 series. The Scots had already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series and looked on course for a clean sweep when George Munsey's brutal 108 powered them to 186-4 from their 20 overs. The left-handed opener reached three figures from just 59 balls - his third in this format for Scotland - striking eight fours and seven sixes. Fellow opener Finlay McCreath made 25, while Matthew Cross whacked 23 not out off only eight deliveries.

Namibia flew out of the blocks in reply - Louren Steenkamp blasted 25 off 12 balls before being dismissed by Mackenzie Jones, while Jan Frylinck top-scored with 78 off 53 balls. Two quick wickets stymied Namibia's progress and they were left needing 16 off the final over with influential captain Gerhard Erasmus still at the crease. Jasper Davidson had Alex Volschenk caught behind and then removed Erasmus after a six the ball before. Namibia required nine off the last two balls, but Davidson bowled a no-ball before Leicher scrambled two then cleared the ropes to seal a dramatic win.
